Internal doors from JL Joinery. Supplied in a range of styles and cut to fit the wooden door frames in your house.
There are several factors to consider when choosing interior doors for your home. How they look is obviously essential; the material they’re made from; the style of panelling; fixtures & fittings; and whether to have them glazed. You’ll also want to think about how easy the doors are to maintain and their durability. And of course, you’ll want to make sure they fit within your budget.
In addition to room dividing doors, we fit a wide variety of doors for a variety of different uses around the home; including wardrobes, window-seat cupboards and under-stairs cupboards.

Internal doors FAQs
Why do I need to replace my doors?
If you have just moved into a new home and the current doors are ugly, in poor condition or simply just not in your taste, then it makes sense to replace them to match the rest of your décor scheme. Even if you have been living in your property for some time and want to update, refresh or enhance the look of your property, you shouldn’t overlook the influence of selecting the right internal doors. Today you can get sleek glass doors that make your dining room brighter and more welcoming, classic cottage doors that will add to the country feel of your kitchen, and simple but stylish doors that offer a contemporary finish for your living areas.
What type of internal door is best for my home?
Replacing the doors in your property can make big difference in the appeal of your home. JL Joinery specialises in lightweight panel moulded doors (see picture) for homes in Leeds and surrounding areas of West Yorkshire. Co-ordinating your interior doors with the decor is the most common reason we find for people to replace their doors. Some customers have wanted to change the style of their property going from traditional solid wood doors to more contemporary panel moulded doors, whatever the reason – JL Joinery can help you to choose the right door for your space. Why not select internal doors from your favourite home improvement retailer, such as Screwfix, and ask us to fit them for you?
What is a moulded door?
This type of door has a single piece moulded face that looks like a traditional timber panel door, but is much more affordable. The front and back faces of the door are covered with wood fibre skins and the door is made rigid by timber stiles and rails that run around the edges of the inside of the door. It is manufactured with various core types, including heavy-solid-core and lightweight-hollow-core, to fill the space between the two-door faces.
